I wasn't too crazy about them when I was in Fla but that was a long time ago. A lot goes into a grocery store to expand and so many have recently closed that they are being more cautious. The ones that are expanding quickly are the natural/health food stores.
Yea, if we bring another grocery store i'd like it to be something different to bring to the table. I've never been impressed w/ Publix. I never liked them in FL. Nothing special or different about them to me.
I go to many different grocery stores, from HT to Lowes to Food Lion to Trader Joe's and Fresh Market. They all have something different to offer. The more the better, I think. Specials help lower my overall grocery bill. I would love to see another grocery store here.
I never saw a nice Publix, not sure how they could compete w/ HT.
