I'm looking to purchase a condo near I485 (Uncc area). Any ideas how is this area? Is it safe for families? This is near CVS pharmacy on Univ. Blvd after passing I485

I live in that area right near the CVS. Seems pretty safe so far.

Don't live anywhere near there, but wouldn't be afraid to either.

This is an area where a lot of college kids live. Not sure of the "party" atmosphere, but, I would think that since there are a lot of younger folks in the area, it is sure to be...err...lively. Don't think that there is any inherent danger, however.

Probably a LOT of bad traffic, however, on concert dates...as it is quite close to the Verizon Ampitheatre...might be some noise/ partying related to that, also.

I think it is fairly safe. You are very near the Speedway and Verizon Ampitheatre and will gets lots of traffic when there are events at those venues.
