I am looking to move from MD by the Spring of 2008, I want to know what the apartment communities in Huntersville are like, preferrably 2 bedrooms...I want to move to an apt.for about a yr. and then find a house. I am a 56y/o female, and a nurse...I would love to hear from some nurses as well.

Huntersville would be lovely, Try going to apartments.com. A lot of the complexs have a virtual tour that you can take to get and idea of the place. Some places don't list the rental price because they change according to the specials they have running. For instance you might have a $900 monthly rent go down to like $800 depending on the availablity. If they have a lot of vacant units they tend to lower the prices. Good luck

Hey Emerald...

Huntersville is a great place!! It's large though...do you have any idea what part you'd like to land in?

I am a nurse (now a realtor) as well! I think you will like it here...

[There are many opportunities for work in the Huntersville area especially with the new hospital and urgent care sites. The Glens at Birkdale Commons would be a great spot for you to live that year while you decide about a purchase. It is located adjacent to Birkdale with all its shops, restaurants and entertainment. Good Luck!
