Spotted this news on the Town of Waxhaw website:

Upcoming Closure of NC-1008 Waxhaw-Indian Trail Road NCDOT Project No. B-4293


Beginning Monday, April 30, 2012 NCDOT will begin the replacement of the bridge over Blythe Creek on Waxhaw-Indian Trail Road. This project will result in the closing of Waxhaw-Indian Trail Road from Deer Creek Drive to Pleasant Grove Road until approximately November 15, 2012. More information regarding this project can be found at the NCDOT website.
