Default Relocating to Area 15 (Lake Wylie)

I'm considering moving down to NC from CT (just me and my 3 dogs, no kids). I'm especially interested in the Lake Wylie area. Can anyone give me some local info?

Check the SC forum I think you may get a little more info on that one for Lake Wylie. Lovethecarolinas is really informative and lives there. You may want to even PM here she is very helpful. Good Luck!!!

Thanks. Just to clarify, I do want to live on the NC side, in Charlotte. I'm not looking to live in Lake Wylie, SC.

Yes, that's where lovethecarolinas lives on the South Carolina side and she would be your girl for any info you need and she loves to help.

If you want to stay on the NC side of Lake Wylie that means you want to look in area 7. Homes in that area range anywhere from $160 to very pricey. Concentrate your search on Hwy 49 from Carowinds Blvd to the lake itself. Once you cross the bridge you are in SC.
