I will be relocating to the Charlotte area next fall. My girlfriend will eventually be attending UNCC and in a year or so I will be attending Johnson and Wales. We are looking for a nice apartment to start off with, then buying a townhome. I don't want to live directly in the city--but somewhere that has around a 15-30min commute to UNCC! Anyone have any suggestions on apartments in the Northern Charlotte area? I heard that Huntersville is nice, but where around there?

We are looking for low crime, pet friendly, area with parks and other things of that nature.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
