I have only been in the Charlotte area for eight months. I need advice on doing a fundraising event for a therapeutic riding facility. Non-profit for children, adults, IE: soldiers, public servants, etc. with disabilities

Who to invite? Where to have it?? Should I have an event planner?

I know several non profits around the country, and do NOT want to follow their way of doing things.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I find that Car washes are always a good Fund raiser. BUt they require a lot of dependable help. You usually get a lot of people just driving by. Have some one hold the signs up on the main road. Good luck.

Auto Bell has an awesome deal, where they print car wash tickets with you organizations name...they sell for $12.95 (price of a full service wash anyway), and you get half! With the water restrictions this is a bit more enviornmentally friendly, and you dont get the slightest bit wet!
