I'm working uptown all day. I lost track of time and didn't realize the vote was today until just now. Any help appreciated. And for the record, I'm voting AGAINST.

You vote according to where you live. Did you register to vote and did they give you a polling place? You are joking, right?

If you didn't register to vote prior to today, you don't vote anywhere. What a shame!

Call the board of elections. They may have a way for you to vote that I don't know about. I registered voters for a while and learned a lot that I did not know and I am sure there are many more things I don't know about the election process.

FYI: If you have not registered yet you might want to think about the November election and go get that done. Most libraries have registration forms. You register in the county where you live and they will mail you a card that lists your voting location. North Carolina has early voting, so there is really no excuse not to vote.

Yep, definitely is. Unfortunately it is one of those things that fell by the wayside since I moved here from NY. Didn't even cross my mind until now.

I vote in every election. People died so I would have that right. People want to die in other countries right now to get that right. Its something that should never be taken lightly.

You can download form here:
Voter Registration Application

But it's too late for today.
Voter registration should be made easier, even automatic, but there is a certain political party who has a vested interest in low turnout.

I agree with you 100%, tread102. How do people like you feel if voting mandatory? Like Australia. I bet most Republicans would be against it.
