I saw a few little ducks walking down my street yesterday and they were calling for its mother. A few hours later one of them was in my yard so I took him in for the night...sadly I could not find the others.

Anyways, I'm going to call my vet but does anyone know where I can bring an orphaned baby duck? I read that other ducks may drown him so I can't just bring him to a pond.

Thanks for any and all advice!

I have a friend that owns ducks/chickens and he lives in Mooresville. He is interested in the baby duck. If you want to PM me I can send you the details.

I took him to the Carolina waterfowl rescue in Indian Trail and he will be well taken care of there....they have lots of ducklings, so he has lots of new little friends!
They have geese, ducks and even a turkey...so if anyone ever finds a bird in need that is the place to go!
