The new Little Sugar Creek greenway

Hanging out at Common Market on a Thursday night

Playing ping pong at T-Street or Smokey Joes

Once a year or so I'll visit 40 Acre Rock, outside of Lancaster SC. Technically it's 14 acres but it feels like a wide open space, and is a very zen place. It's kind of like Stone Mountain but only 45 minutes away.

I'll second Loves in regards to Tillery. I went a couple of weeks ago , and rented a canoe. It was fine until the idiots came out. I had to go into traffic mode to get back across the channel. All in all , I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Another good spot is further out 24/27 , across Tillery , and left at the flashing yellow light. Plenty to keep one occupied out there , even for exploration purposes. I head out there at least 30 times a year , mainly during winter. Also , if you take 49 all the way out , you can reach this area. Really , the areas around those lakes are attractive , save for certain areas around High Rock.
