Hi Everyone,

We are moving to charlotte(Canmore Street) on June 5th, and I would like to know good school for my 2year old daughter.

- Are there any non profit good Monterssori schools? What is the process of admission?
- How about Goddard School, any idea?

Thanks,
Ravi

Hi, I've heard great reviews of Goddard, Chesterfield and Ivybrook schools. Take a tour to decide for yourself. As for private Montessori, for you, Omni is the closest. Anami is just a little north of Ballantyne.

There are Montessori programs through the public school system, CMS, but they are highly-sought after and very difficult to be accepted. It's through a lottery process. There's hundreds of children applying for 20 - 30 spots, not good odds. It's starts at Pre-K. Go to CMS website and look at the magnet section. GL and welcome!

Ditto the above^^, except i have heard bad things about Chesterbrook. Goddard is the best.

If you want WAY more info on schools, childcare, and general mommy talk, join CharlotteMommies.com. You have to request an invitation, but they usually grant you access within a day or so. That's where I keep up to speed with all things mommy.

Good to know about Chesterbrook. Primrose is another school I've heard good reviews from others.

Not saying aquafish is wrong or being misleading, but Do the research yourself and take reviews and opinions with a grain of salt. You may find some reviews don't match your experiences.
