The Village at Lake Wylie
Hamilton's Bay
Villas at Marlin Bay (brand new apartments)

All have swimming pools, workout centers, etc. Some have Lake access.

There are a number of businesses within 5 minutes:
Walmart, BiLo, Food Lion, Lowes, 3 pharmacies, and more.

It is a 10 minute drive to additional shopping at Rivergate>

The airport is a 20 minute drive (back roads) and Uptown is between 25-30 minutes (non rush hour).

Please feel free to DM me if you have any questions. I have been in Lake Wylie for 12 years and love it!
We have actually kind of settled on Lake Wylie that you mention it. We are coming out there this week to check some apartments out. I have been putting some applications in/around Lake Wylie area and Rock Hill. So hopefully I will find something. How is the commute from Lake Wylie to Gastonia?

Welcome to Lake Wylie. There will be a great fireworks display on the 4th by the Buster Boyd bridge. Any questions about the area just send me a DM.

I've got a few applications for police officer in Rock Hill, Tega Cay, and Spencer. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one of those will work out. The wife starts her job on the 2nd of July. So hopefully we won't have to live apart for very long.

I posted about a current opening in Kings Mountain, but logistically, that won't work for you now. Good luck with the other locations.

I have been reading up on licensing/registering motor vehicles in South Carolina. How does this work? You have to pay a separate yearly tax on your vehicle or what? Any info would be great.....
