Hello all,

I am in the process of moving from renter to homeowner. I currently rent in southend but dont necassarily feel like i need to be that close to uptown anymore.

I am looking for a 2br+ 2bath+ house. I would need to have a yard considering I have a number of toys like my boat and such. A more wooded area would be nice but not a must. I currently work uptown but my office is getting moved to southpark by the time my rental lease is up so I figure south of the loop is better than north.

Lastly, I am looking between 100k-200k where safety is a concern but school system is not. I have looked as far away as Tega Cay and as close to areas around plaza midwood. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

-C.

2 beds/2 baths would indicate you like older homes?

Problem is, you can't always get in the older desirable neighborhoods like that in your price range. (Chantilly, Elizabeth, Plaza Midwood).

I think your best bet is to get a good realtor working on this for you. Since you will work in South Park you could really look anywhere from Matthews/Mint Hill to Steele Creek, so the area you are looking at is very large.

I have a few ideas of places to suggest, so I'll go see if there are any homes available now and send you some links on dm if I find any
