HI, I'm planning for a local move next month. Is there any professional driving service I can use for the rental truck? I'm interested in hiring movers for the move, however, the one that I asked doesn't provide truck, and I'm not confident driving the rental truck myself, not many friends in town neither.

If there's any reliable driver I can hire, that'll be great. Thanks for your advice in advance.

If you can't find a driver, another option is to use PODS or U-Pack - they'll basically bring a portable storage unit to your place, you load it up, then they'll pick it up and deliver it to your new place.

We used PODS and E-Move when we moved to Charleston. They delivered the Pods, we had local movers move the heavy stuff of what we were taking into the pod, shipped it to Charleston and have movers there put everything back. We did this because we bought furniture for our new house, here and had it delivered to our old house. They put it right into the POD. We took our time and packed everything exactly the way we wanted it.
