Does anyone have any recommendations for apartments near the Charlotte School of Law? It is tough to find a place that fits a student budget in the Dilworth, Wilmore, Bryant Park area.

Let me know if you have seen some unadvertised "jewels" out there.

Hey, I might be going there too!
student budget in Dilworth, oh well, doesn't do too far. There are some older condos in elizabeth off of Vail that might be a better deal. sometimes you get lucky and find even a little house, like, around where the Pinguin is.

try down in selwyn village somtimes a good deal comes up in there and try Kenmore House in Elizabeth as well. There are some places for rent on Scaleybark as well that may be a little out of date but affordable. Good luck.

I have a friend at CSoL... he lives in the condos on the corner of Park and Kennilworth and, I think, gets a pretty good deal.

The CSoL announced their new building site recently though.. and it's not in Dilworth, so it might also be worth looking up when they're planning on moving (that is, if you want to stay in one place for the whole 3 years, anyway).

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the information everyone. I was in Charlotte Monday, and I have decided that I am going to try to find a roommate so that I can find a place close to the school in Dilworth or Elizabeth or close to the new location in Wesley Heights.

I'll see how things go, I have posted on CaigsList and Roommates.com.

The Camp Greene Neighborhood has rental homes. Most are 2 bedroom 1 bath $550 to $750 a month. Camp Greene is located at Wilkinson Blvd. & West Morehead Street, just a couple of blocks from the new building in Bryant Park. I am the president of the neighborhood assoc.
