Not a lot of fresh seafood this far inland. The "high end" grocery stores would be a good bet though. (Harris Teeter, Bloom, Lowes Foods...)

I've had success w/the mussels at the Lowe's on Prov. Rd by 485.

I'm very picky because I was spoiled w/my ShopRite up north.

I talked to the seafood mgr and he ordered 6 lbs for me on a Friday, & I picked them up on Sunday. w/my wife's marinara sauce, OMG, I thought I died and went to heaven...they were super fresh! Did not smell "fishy" at all! haven't had that since moving here...

Default fresh seafood

Call the shrimp pimp seafood company they travel from the coast picking fresh seafood directly from the boats for sat delivery. To get it fresher you would have to catch it yourself. live blue crabs, grouper etc 704 831-1711

What about prices? Premium? In line w/ grocery stores? Refrigerated trucks?

Hey Chris,

I have the same challenge. I drove up to NY for a week and brought a cooler to bring back some fish and other goodies. Wanna place your order
