The billboard will read, "Mission gathering Christian Church is sorry for the narrow-minded, judgmental, deceptive, manipulative actions of those who DENIED rights and equality TO so many in the Name of God."
There is plans if the Church receives funding, to add more billboards like this through out the Queen City and have them up in time for the DNC.
What would one expect from the State of California...the arm pit of the west coast.
Still not being judgemental, eh?

I don't understand this apparent contradiction.
Because many churches don't interperet it that way. AND even some of the ones that do see it as a sin, understand that this is a civil issue & what the Bible says should not really play a part in it, since religion is a personal matter.

The Bible doesn't say that homosexuality is a sin.
Furthermore the Bible DOES say say that gluttony and being drunk is a sin, but there are sure plenty of billboards out there that encourage people to over indulge in both. Charlotte ranks pretty high on the list of cities full of fat people.
Yet there doesn't seem to be any concern about those "sins".

This I absolutely agree with.

I've seen countless people who reference the bible as THE source for calling homosexuality a sin. As is often the case, the bible is open to interpretation, and that interpretation can be molded to meet any agenda.
Although I agree with the sentiment, I think people and churches in California should keep their advertisements at home.
