It actually ended up going okay. We put the rest of his stuff outside in the backyard, I made sure the other tenant was gone for the day, the locks had already been changed so he just picked up his stuff & was gone. No issues thank God!

Glad to hear that there was a peaceful resolution.

Some people are more fearful of the people carrying them. Say you're carrying a gun and I can see that you are carrying a gun, right there in the grocery store, 10 feet from myself and my kids. I don't know you from Adam. I'm uncomfortable knowing that I'm putting our lives in your hands by being in shooting distance.

And yes, there are many other scenarios where we risk our lives by trusting that other people (like driving, for instance). But KNOWING FOR A FACT that a person is wielding a weapon whose only purpose is to shoot people (or you would be wearing it hunting, or to the range, not into the grocery store where there are only people to shoot)...it's unnerving. It just is.

Never feared anyone that carried openly anywhere.

Actually, I felt safer knowing that the person would be a good deterrent to anyone that had ideas about doing evil deeds.

People will look at it in two different ways.
Your unnerving fear is my comfort.
