400 new high paying jobs are coming to Davidson as an industrial distribution company will set up a co-headquarters in northern Mecklenburg county. MSC Industrial Direct, a New York-based company that distributes metalworking and industrial supplies, will invest 31 million dollars in a new facility in Davidson.

Best of all these seem to be good pay jobs!
Nothing against the $30k jobs, they are welcomed here as well, but to get the local economy going, we need more better pay jobs.

An industrial distribution company locating to near I-77? Do they know something about the possible lane expansion that we don't?

Nobody knows anything about the I-77 widening possible toll road. I am trying to figure out where the building site is. Northeast quadrant of exit 30?

Here is a map where it planned. MSC hopes to break ground later this year, and open the site in 2013.
