I love Van Halen I'm glad they are still putting on a good show. I wish I would have went. And yes they do rock

Did you really mean to compare Van Halen to Mozart?

Absolutely. I don't compare styles of music. If I did then I'd say that the Grateful Dead were the Beethoven of jambands. You said that Van Halen never rocked. I compared it to saying that I guess Mozart never composed beautiful symphonies either. Of course he did.

And Van Halen has always rocked. Shortly I'll be listening to that Charlotte show to see just how hard they wound up rocking said venue.

And I can't type.

Try telling the 20K fans that were standing on their feet for 2 hours, fist pumping, singing along, and having a great time that VH doesn't rock.

Are you comparing your typing skills to Van Halen?

Yours is the worst analogy I've seen all year.

There is a huge difference between disagreeing with an opinion and posting an analogy which makes no sense and then thinking that you were clever.

Actually, I don't see how you can say that at all - it was a GREAT analogy and makes perfect sense. I am not a huge Van Halen fan, but even I have to admit those guys rocked. So yes, I can see how saying they don't rock is like saying Mozart never wrote great symphonies. Maybe you misunderstood and thought he was comparing Van Halen's music to Mozarts music?
