I'm considering relocating from a small country town to the Providence, Longview, Firethorne Country Club area in NC. I have 4 children: two are 12yrs & two are 14yrs. Interest in a family friendly neighborhood with excellent schools. We are an adoptive family & our children were born in Central America. I would like to know the pros & cons of living there from anyone with personal experiences of these areas. Thank you.

Providence is kid friendly with good schools. The Longview might not be that kid friendly as I have heard that the population there is bit different ;-)

Longview is extremely kid friendly. They have family events every week. Where did you get your information?

Just ask the membership director she can give you all the info you want. Every client I have that is a member has been very happy and pleasantly surprised by the laid back atmosphere.

The club is very welcoming and they have no debt. What club can say that?!

I thought real estate agents weren't supposed to talk about children or kids? Ours said it was a protected class and we would have to do our own research like driving through a neighborhood.

Notice I didn't give specifics

In addition, I'm referencing the Club itself

Notice what? Give specifics whether Longview is child/kid friendly? Send it to your real estate commission. I'm sure they would disagree. I looked at protected classes online and it does appear you are violation.

Just ignore...compare your reputation points to that of the troll. Ignoring is more effective.
