I thought that there was a stop in Kannapolis heading for Charlotte. In reality, the red line is what is needed to facilitate the I-77 traffic problem and to encourage the continuation of foreign manufacturing firms to continue developing along the red line route.

There some information being misguided both Carolinian, and Piedmont are Amtrak trains. NCDOT may run the Piedmont but the Carolinian runs from Charlotte to New York, where the Piedmont only serves stops between Charlotte and Raleigh.

These two trains both stop in Kannapolis.

A Fare between Charlotte and Kannapolis is only about $7.00
