Hello, someone I know suggested the Links & The Timbers apts. to me, and I believe they are in East Charlotte? Reading the reviews these sound like terrible places to live and in a bad neighborhood. Has anyoe here had any experiences with these apartments?

When I was in junior high , the Links were known as Fountain Square , and the Timbers , as is. They were decent areas to live in , but have went down in recent years. Try some of the apartments between 2600 and 5200 Central Avenue , the ones bordered by Briarcreek , Central , Commonwealth , and Green Oaks are decent.

Those areas are definitely not for everyone.

What is your budget?

No and No! My BFF had a stalker issue at the Timbers. The security guard let the stalker in, so much for a gated community.
