I had removed about 150 sq.ft. by pryng the boards up with crowbars which left the need for them to be stripped. The ranch owner said he would strip the boards for me. He suggested that I pry the boards up only high enough to allow a reciprocal saw blade to fit between the decking and the joist and saw through the nails. The deck removal was much faster and none of the boards needed to be stripped.

I had over 15 responses to the craigslist ad before I could remove it.
Unless you have already pulled the boards, you could state in the craigslist ad that the boards must also be removed. This is what I did, and it worked out great!

Go get a fire pit. Cut the boards to length and enjoy the cool fall nights.

Yes, if you like breathing chemicals such as arsenic and other harmful additives. Also if that wood was treated with CCA it is illegal to burn in all 50 states.

Yet more evidence of the government encroaching upon my rights. Every American has the God-given right to breathe toxic fumes!

Wow, with the cooler nights, I'm really enjoying the warmth of the old pressure treated ramp to my shed. It goes quite nice with a buttery chardaney!
