If you are bored and need a thrill, go to Carowinds and ride the Windseeker. Has anyone done that? I haven't ridden the one here yet, but I rode one in Vienna, Austria like it. It is pretty scary.

I heard from one of my sons that it is a wickedly scary ride

I got on it a few weeks ago...it's really...boring. Even my teenagers do not like it.

LOL, I think it's scary for anyone with a fear of heights.

It actually looks like fun to me though

The only reason I like getting on it is the view of Charlotte and some of the mountains

Me and a buddy went to Carowinds last week. He loved Intimidator but would not ride Windseeker. Said it was too high for him. I've ridden it numerous times (season pass holder here), and it's OK, nothing special. It's only scary if you are scared of heights, otherwise a very tame ride.

The Vienna version previously mentioned is indeed a scarier ride, as it is built by a different manufacturer than the Windseeker. Known as Star Flyer, it is a more traditional chair lift swing ride connected by chains, but of extreme height. The Windseeker seats are supported by metal beams which appear a bit more stable and stationary. In the US, this Star Flyer version of the ride has been built at Six Flags parks under the name Sky Screamer, with the tallest one announced for New England next year. Also, I believe there is a similar ride in Orlando, Fla.

Intimidator, Drop Tower, and Afterburn are still my favorites.
