Hamricks opened another store in Gastonia last November & I think another one in Burlington. They're much smaller than the main store in Gaffney, but just the same, they have a little bit of everything.

H & M clothes come from the factories in Bangladesh where they just had alot of terrible disasters and people killed. Those factories may not be able to provide the goods for your H & M store.

H&M specializes in selling trendy style clothes at a cheap price. But personally I prefer to purchase INC and Murano house brands when on sale at Macy's and Dillard's. Also Apt. 9 at Kohl's and J. Ferrar at JCPenney. And when Calvin Klein is on sale at Macy's and Belk, and often they will take the extra coupon. But I do hope H&M does make it to Charlotte. They are just very particular about real estate and the right location.

Frankly H&M to me is a whole lot of nothing special. Raleigh's had their store for a few years now and....meh. Then a new big H&M opened in SouthBeach and I had higher expectations.....again meh. The best thing about that store is the magnificent renovation of the historic building that they occupy.

H&M caters to high school-college students more than anything. Assuming you're not in either of these categories, that's probably why you don't think highly of it.

Yea interesting they chose Carolina Place instead of SouthPark or Northlake. But I guess they try to be trendy but cheap, rather than upscale. And appeal to a young demographic.
