Yes as crestliner said. the 1st thing to do is the fuel system needs pressure tested. Only maybe 5-8 PSI is needed more than that can damage the tank or components. How much higher was the bow sitting and how much gas was in the bilge? Even with expansion the gas should have come out the vent. What means did you use to remove the gas in the bilge? Can the tank be removed from the boat without cutting the floor? Some boats I've seen built with the tank installed before the deck/interior installed making for a lot more labor than should have been necessary.

Thanks.

Problem was a hole in the vent line under the floor.

Happy to hear the problem is solved without it being a major thing to fix. There is plenty of boating season left and I would hate to have my boat in dry dock waiting for repairs too.

Good deal. What caused the hole? was the hose just bad ? Or was it rubbing on something, is so was that repaired.

When the manufacturer/dealer install a piece of hardware they used screws that were too long. One of the screw pierced the vent hose. At some point, the screws were removed and the proper screw used. That is my and the mechanic's best guess.
