I'm curious if anyone has been to the Clt Pride Festival and how it was.
It looks like a fun event!

I have been going to Charlotte Pride Festival for years and last year was the best, and base on the entertainment this year looks like this year is going to be even better and it for first time it being held for two days.

I plan to take pictures again this year, feel free to add if you go.

Looks like there will be a free Slurpee booth on 3rd Street.

Are you in Charlotte area now? If so there is events going on all week, including a great dinner special at Flying Biscuit, and poker tournament at NC Music Factory during this week.

I had lunch w/ my kids at Flying Biscuit today and saw a flyer which is how I even remembered that Pride Fest was going on! (I first heard about it during that whole Amendment debacle). I live in Mooresville, but will try to get to some events. I don't know what I can drag my two young'uns to Originally, I'd planned to go to the Southern Ideal Home Show, but now I'm conflicted! (I'm sure I'm not the only one in that demographic, )
Maybe I can leave the kids home with the hubs and go to both by myself.......

It real cool Flying Biscuit and Monkey Joes help raising funds for this festival. I dont know if you pick up a qnotes with festival guide inside it but I link Pride Charlotte below.

Im in Huntersville so I know what you mean getting a chance to do the weekday events. I might try to Friday evening events but definitely make it to the festival, bring the kids they have a kid zone.

Take the Light rail, park at Archdale or Scaley Park station and get off at Stonewall St.

I did pick up the Qnotes.
Can't wait to take the Big Gay Trivia test. Too bad there's not a Quick Drag Make-over booth. That would be a riot!

LOL, I think ill watch the test. lol.

Drag makeover sounds like a cool idea kinda like RuPaul Drag U. There is 3 drag queens from last season of RuPaul Drag race performing, they could be the judges. Ill throw the idea on there FB page but it probably to late for them to make arrangements.

Last year drag queens perform at Wachovia atrium I mean Well Fargo lol it will always be Wachovia to me. The other stages have music.

I'd love to help out next year. Maybe I can organize a booth like that sponsored by a hair salon or the like! Or, MAC. That would be awesome.
