Has anyone seen these ads on Craigslist before? Concord-New House-4*sale*100%Financed*650+Credit-ok(Buy)don't rent

I called and they're a local builder who has been able to tap into Charlotte and other city iniatives/funding/etc.. to help people get into homes and boost the home building business. They said they build all over this region and you can purchase a prebuilt house or work through the design process and have your house built in different neighborhoods. A lot of what they had was out by Concord Mills, Steel Creek, Mooresville, and some other outskirts where development is going on.

My concern would be that the neighborhood could be iffy given the cap on income earned, but I could be wrong. I don't mind a little diversity at all, but when we first moved here we were in a new neighborhood and there was lots of drug activity, and our house was broken into and most everything of value was taken.

Any thoughts? I'm preferable to older houses but those are way out of our price range. As it is we'll probably rent for a few more years anyway, but I was curious nonetheless.

They were very open and offered to show houses, etc.. I guess the pricing, rules, and qualifications depended on the city in which you wanted to live in because each city has its own money for these types of things. It didn't appear to be a scam but who knows until you actually check into it more.

Please get a good real estate agent to help you find a home.

Anything that seems too good to be true.... IS. My guess from the picture of that home you posted is that the properties will be undesirable areas with numerous foreclosures.
