My young son and I are relocating to the Huntersville, North Carolina area. I am a native New Yorker and a first time home buyer. I started my home search in Huntersville, because I've noticed you get more house for your real estate dollar than here in New York. Anyway, I found an awesome townhouse that I love, but I was told that maybe a single family home would be better because single family homes sell faster and for more money than a townhouse. Since its just my son and I, I do not plan on moving for many years to come and I don't need the space and responsibility that a single family home comes with. I need comments from current single parent town home and single family home owners.
