Thanks!! I was an extra in the Zach and Miri film, and I always look forward to opportunities to be an extra from time to time. Hope it's not too crowded!

Were you in the porno?

I better get to Frugal McDugal before the crowds hit.

Lol, no, no I was not, haha. I did actually make it into the movie though. There is a scene in the mall where seth and craig are walking and talking, and at one point you see me and my green jacket walking in the opposite direction. It's a mere 2 seconds, and I'm a fuzzy background person, but it totally made my night when we went to go see it when it came out

Oh yeah!! Minimum wage baby!! Being an extra (at least in that experience) is totally unglamorous. In my case we were there from 7am to 9pm, when we weren't being used, which was most of the time, we were stuck in a room out of the way, where we had to make our own fun. They provided some snacks, but we were responsible for our own lunches. I'd say out of the whole time we were there, not counting the hour lunch, we spent about an hour and a half not in that room. On top of that, it was a little over a 3 hour drive 1 way for me, and I had to be back home the next day for work. The pay I earned covered the gas money. i basically did it, because i'm a huge Kevin Smith fan. That said, I did have a good time with some good people and I'd be more then happy to do it again.

I was an extra in Talladega Nights, and it was just as you described. Long day of sitting in a tent, for $50. They did give us lunch, at least! And snacks.

You know, I've never looked that closely at the movie to see if you can see me. It's in the bar scene, when they're singing. They had all the super-hot girls up front. I was towards the back, if that tells you anything!

Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly were funny! They were both a little tipsy, it seemed like.

I'm trying to remember... I think they shot that scene at what used to be The Palomino Club, way out Albemarle Road! It was called something else at the time the movie was made, and I'm sure it's called something else now, if it even still exists.

Default Anyone watch "Homeland" on Showtime?

Homeland which was filmed in Mecklenburg County was a sensation from what I have read in the national media. Unfortunately,I don't have showtime but will hopefully rent on Nexflix when it comes out. What are your opinions? I have only read rave reviews.

I think it's pretty boring. Absolutely nothing exciting has happened yet, and they just keep dragging it out. I'm actually surprised it was picked up for another season. I'll finish out this season, but I don't think I'll watch it next year.

Now Dexter, that's the best show on cable. If you haven't watched it, definitely check it out.
