Anyone know where I can find demographics and census maps of the Charlotte metro area?

Interested in things like per capita income, housing values, crime, % with high school degree, etc

Amazing to look at the outbound and inbound migration. Mecklenburg Residents who are moving away are moving to Union County and York County, SC in huge numbers. York County is definitely benefiting from the growth in the region

To put this into perspective....

Mecklengburg county added more residents from 2000-2010 than the total population of any of these counties. Between 2010-2010, and additional 47,000 moved into Mecklenburg.

Last year, the total population increase in York county was ~4,400 people. Union county added ~4,100. In comparison Mecklenburg county added 26,000 people.

All the links I put up were originally posted by someone else on this forum. I kept the links so I cannot give individual credit.

I have used these to research my move to CLT next year and to help me with property buying.

All these numbers point to the fact that my intended house and condo rental business should go well for the next few years at least.

That is a statement of percentages. Bugtussle can add 1 person and have the fastest percentage growth in the country.

Mecklenburg is adding more than 10 times the number of residents as Union county. The rate is different because there are so few people living in that county in comparison.

Ah yes, percentages are relative because they are not numbers.
