Anyone go to the Rush concert last night? It was a beauty, eh. One of the few bands out there with all the original members, which I guess is easier to do when you only have 3 people. They played for about 3 hours and even though they didn't hit all the classics, I had a great time.

Neil Peart is amazing!

I envy you and glad you had a good time. I think they are one of best rock bands of all time. Rush has the best drummer I ever heard and lyrics with deep meanings.

I missed it. But at the dozen Rush concerts I've been to I end up staring at Neil playing drums for much of the show, so the rest of the music is just background noise. I think I would enjoy a two hour drum solo.

I didn't expect it to happen, but I did watch Neil for most of the night. Especially for newer songs that I don't know.

Time Warner Cable Arena, which is one reason I didn't pay much attention to this show. The acoustics are awful, IMnotsoHO. Verizon is a much better venue for music.

Rush: The whole band is just great. I have always liked three piece combos. Cream were quite good at that and so was Hendrix in his early days.

My first experience of Niel was when he played percussion in a fusion band called Brand X where Phil Collins played drums.

Niel Peart is, imo, the best live rock drummer out there.

Neil Peart is an icon. But he never was percussionist in Brand X. That was Morris Pert... Peart has been with Rush since the early/mid-seventies.
