I'm going to assume that you're asking for someone else. Tell your friend to go to a library. Libraries are totally different from what they were years ago. They have authors come & speak. They have concerts, & they show films. They have lectures. There's something for everyone of all ages.

Where are the hot retired guys? As in no bald spots, strong, rich, masculine, manly, no mid-life crisis, etc.?
Just throw one of them guys out there and all the divorced retired ladies will just flock out of Providence, Ballantyne, and Myers Park faster than your head could spin.
But giving a reply without my passive-agressive "Bless your heart" sentiment, I would say check the country clubs or go hang around Ballantyne hotel. Or go online which is what I would recommend.

This time of year, the hot retired ladies are hanging out with their friends at private parties, country clubs and each other's second homes in such places as the Turks & Caicos and sunny Spain.
And unless you have an impressive portfolio, you will never meet any of them.
