Hey everyone.

I was hoping to do some business at the auto show and was wondering if anyone has been to this event before? I'd really like to know if I should plan on wearing a suit or just go casual.

Also feel free to discuss the show. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Nissan has done to improve the GTR and if it has any supercar plans for Infiniti. Also looking forward to seeing the new Porsche 918 hybrid.

What type of business are you hoping to do there? For the most part, the people who put on the shows work for local dealers and event companies. I've never seen anyone wearing a suit to one of the shows, except the dealership reps. It is always fun and casual, with lots to see. Last year seemed smaller than previous years, though. Not sure how this one will be.

Do some business there? You have a product you want to introduce or? You will just run into several folks pitching products, but they already work in the industry.

I'll be offering official Google Maps services. It's not really an unheard of product and I already have several connections in the high end part of the industry, I'm just hoping to network with new prospects.

Thanks guys!

I've been to many of these shows over the years. If you are not a registered vendor in this show, I don't think they are going to allow you to solicit the crowd. If you are, they will probably give you the requirements for dress or I assume that you would want to dress appropriately in the role of a business rep.

Otherwise, everyone else is very casual in dress. (except for maybe at the private invitation only part of the show)
