We have been looking to move to Charlotte and have narrowed it down to Marvin Creek Ballantyne Country Club or Providence Country Club. I am so confused because realtors can no longer tell you information on how many kids are in the neighborhood or which neighborhood is very friendly social? Also, which elementary school is the best in your opinion Marvin, Polo Ridge Elementary or Ballantyne Elementary. All the neighborhoods and schools look nice but I would really appreciate a locals opinion on the neighborhoods and schools. We are out of state so we just get a snap shot. Thank you.

Out of the three, Marvin is in Union County while the other two are in Mecklenburg. Your taxes will probably be a lot lower in Marvin. The school systems are completely different, but it's a matter of preference.

How are the school systems completely different? We are in New Jersey the schools vary greatly from town to town. What looks good sometimes really isn't that great. I don't want to make a mistake. I will base my chose primarily on the schools. I have read about bullying etc on the great school.org website. Thanks!
