The Wesley Chapel Fire Dept. is serving BBQ today (10/13)! It's delicious.
I highly recommend it. You can just drive up to the back of the firehouse and they'll bring it right to your car, or you can eat in. I think they're serving until 8pm tonight.
Go early, it gets crowded.

We went there last year...not bad. Had we not gone to Bob Evans for breakfast, I might make a run at it this year...

Default Wesley Chapel BBQ rocks...

Wesley Chapel BBQ is some of the best around. Both the pork and the turkey are 1st rate. Fresh and cooked up right out back. You get a good slice of southern (and UC) culture if you pull up a seat an eat in, elbow to elbow with your neighbors.

Also agree on Mac's. The brisket (while not a southern thing) is off the hook. I hear that Mac's is coming to Matthews...
