Robert Irvine's bringing his crew to Sweet Tea's in Pineville. I've never eaten there, has anyone here?

It's located in a very nondescript spot in the Bi-Lo shopping center across from CMC-Pineville. There used to be an italian restaurant in the same location a few years ago and it could hold maybe 20 people max. I honestly don't see how a restaurant could do well being hidden like this one is.

Back in the day, that Bi-Lo used to be nasty. I haven't been inside in years, but it's almost the only game in town over there.

It was originally built as a Kroger Save-On. It was taken over by Bi-Lo when Kroger pulled out of Charlotte.

That shopping center has been there a very long time. I remember it being there in the early 1980s. The location is well know by the locals and there are several large housing developments within walking distance of the place. IMO, it's a good location of a nice out of the way place.

I love this show! I've never been there but my company was thinking about using them for catering. I'll have to catch this episode.

The food is hit or miss. They have catered some of our events and the food is good. Eating in the restaurant is not so good.
Watch the Yelp comments because some of them are from the owners.

They filmed yesterday & today. Today was the "grand reopening" after they redesigned the restaurant. I actually would have liked to have been there for that! It should air in January or February.
