Nah. I've eaten at their Dilworth and Huntersville locations in addition to downtown. It's pretty much the same food at each place with a different atmosphere, so I would give their Fairview location a shot.

Although if you are in the Park Road shopping Center area, Luisa's off Montford behind Park Lanes is really good, too. Also Portofino in the shopping center at Selwyn and Park.

I'm looking for takeout or delivery closer to home off Sardis Road North, so I'll give Brixx a try. It's been a long time but when I worked off South Blvd I ate at Louisa's many times. Good to know it's still there. Although AYCE pizza and salad for lunch is not a recipe for afternoon productivity.

Portofino has been there a long time, hasn't it? Never ate there.

I haven't been myself, but I've heard/read good things about Pure Pizza in 7th St Market.

For Uptown I would recommend Vapiano, located near City Center on Tryon.

They make there dough fresh daily. You can watch them make your pizza from scratch.

Here is there pizza menu VAPIANO

Pizza Fusion is very close to downtown, at the Metropolitan. They might deliver, but their info online is screwed up, so I can't be sure.

This is not a super-loaded heavy pizza, but it tastes great. I also like that they have Boylan's sodas, both in bottles & fountain.

I really like Zucca in Atherton Mill, Southend. Not actually in Uptown, but pretty close.

Fuel pizza has soggy crusts. I stopped eating them.
