YES!! They're trying to pass a fineable ordinance that says you cant sag your pants anymore and pants must be worn around the waist! Skeptics say it targets only Blacks, but screw that. Even upstanding black citizens agree it looks ridiculous, not to mention theres thousands of whites, hispanics, asians, and other trash that do it. I doubt it will end up passing but if it did, it'd be the sweetest thing since no smoking ordinances started.

Exactly, I don't like the look myself but people should be free to wear what they want.

The problem is, they're only HALF wearing their clothes. I'm all for them WEARING a pair of pants as opposed to looking like they are in the middle of taking them off.

Hope that doesn't pass. This is supposed to be a free country, but now the government can tell you how to wear your clothes? I don't like the look either, but it isn't hurting me, unlike public smoking. It also sets an undesirable precedent. What else will the government tell us what we can and can't do or wear?

Default Baggy pants are taking a bite out of crime

I may have to rethink my position...

I just find it unprofessional and disrespectful. I also believe that we shouldnt regulate how citizens wear their jeans. I just never understood what the obsession is with 'busting a sag.' I really doubt people enjoy looking at there underwear or rear-end.I believe the Mayor of Charlotte caught heat for stereotyping these types of folks.. I am sure he is all for the ordinance!
