Planning to buy and build a new home in Concord Stone gate Winding walk community. Is this community good? How is the commute to uptown charlotte ? I have kids and looking out for a community with kids so that my son can go to good school and have good friends ? Are there good asian population in concord and is it a safe community?
I currently stay in Lake Norman and the commute is so bad to uptown.. I cannot pick my kids after school within 6pm because of hectic traffic on i77 S .

Commute from Concord will be just as bad if not worse. If you don't like to commute, then I recommend you find a place within the Charlotte city limits.

I think the commute would only be worse if the OP currently lives south of Cornelius. That said, the commute is not that much different if reducing your commute is one of your main reasons for moving.
