Yesterday was ride without pants Sunday, apparently a tradition that has been going on for 12 years in across the nation and world. 50 cities and 25 countries took part in this event.
In Charlotte there was an after party at Common Market in South End.
I support pantless days I suppose, but come on, lets not only make it a once in a lifetime opportunity for unfit women to take their clothes of in front of men exposing their fat asses and lumpy legs. Come on pretty ladies, we need you. Taking photos yesterday wouldn't even have been worth it for perverts. Nothing they would wish to remember. I believe in equality, but lets be honest, beauty was unrepresented. I don't look at dudes, but they seemed to be more fit.
Have a great day and keep your clothes on if you don't look good naked or 'under'dressed. Overall, I think the whole thing is stupid, but O.K. Nevertheless, I do understand why the Moslem world considers us "infidels." Hell, they can't even show an ear.
I would prefer to be in Rome, Barcelona, or Stockholm for the next pantless day.
Finally, this whole thing reminded me of living in London when micro-miniskirts were fashionable and the fat girl would walk by forcing me to see her knickers. It was legal and even great in most cases, but there were negatives.
Some traditions shouldn't have made it past the first year. Its nice to see that classless behavior is applauded not just in the US. I guess we have something to be proud of, a bunch of adults looking for an excuse to run around pantless. Yay Charlotte! We're world class and stuff.
