I have never been to Charlotte before and I mean no offense by asking this question.
I heard some cities like LA is not safe after dark for pedestrian. I read the discussion in this forum, it sounds like quite safe to be with someone downtown Charlotte during the night.
Here is my situation:
I plan to take Megabus from Charlotte downtown @10pm on Friday. I will take Lynx to the bus stop on S Brevard St, between E 4th St and E Trade St. I will wait for the bus for about 10-20 min alone. I am an asian male, short - do I look like a vulnerable target? Is there a bus station or waiting room for Megabus?
Is it safe to wait for the long distnace bus at night?
It's always wise to be on guard, but that area of Uptown shouldn't be a problem. Particularly at 10 on a Friday, since there are a lot of people out (particularly near the Epicenter).
Yeah, won't be a problem at all. That's a decent part of town anyway and at 10pm on Friday it'll be busy.
