If you had "the flu" you wouldn't be at work or LOL ing
Probably just a common URTI (cold)

I got the flu shot and picked up the mutant variation. Was dead to the world for 5 days and 10 days post flu, I am still not 100% since I picked up bronchitis after the flu. First time I have gotten the flu after getting the flu shot (as did my did daughter who also got the flu shot).

So just beware, the mutant strain is going around in CLT and a flu shot won't help if you get that one.

I had the same thing. I got a flu shot in October but caught this thing the day after Christmas and have been limping along since then. I did work on getting my vitamin D levels up to normal in the past year by taking a supplement. Since I started doing this, I still catch colds but seem to run a high fever but then bounce back in better shape after about 24 hours of a fever. I think Vitamin D probably helps out more than the flu shot does.
