My family is moving to Charlotte and would like to build a home. Standard Pacific Homes has stuck out to me with price and quality and the areas they build in... Does anyone know anything about the builder. We have never heard of them before??

We built our home with them 5 or so years back. We didn't have any structural issues and very little issues at all. They resolved them very timely.

I've looked at a couple of their neighborhoods nearby and they are very, very nice. For the price, I think they have a quality build.

I know a guy who does home appraisals and he's done some of their homes. His impression is they give a very good build for the money, and the SP homes he looks at appraise very well.

Depends on the neighborhood, though, too.

I have a townhouse which was built by Standard Pacific in 2004, I've been here since 2006. Very happy, no structural issues, great neighborhood and MUCH higher quality than comparably priced Portrait homes.
