With that in mind I guess no one should do business with them. Great info. Thanks for posting.

Without going into specifics, I suggest you find an online forum for the type of car you are restoring with a local presence that can recommend a good shop.

Reason I need to know on the bad things I had a friend that dealt with them because they have a A+ rating at BBB and he had good words for them but I'm fixing to have work done on my 47 Dodge and want to make sure I go to the right place.

+1
Met him recently and saw first hand his work. A very talented artisan. Take it from someone very familiar with the market. You would not go wrong with Holahans. It would at least be worth your while to make a visit. It's in the back side of the business park next to Mooresville drag strip.

What type of work are you needing done as there are many different facets of restoration.

Went to Klassic Rides yesterday afternoon, first class shop! Gave me a tour of the shop they employee around 14 guys working on a lot of neat projects. The owner and his son which runs the shop are very knowledgeable and Customer focused, gave me names of past Customers also to call for references, going to do that this week. For all I can see it is first rate work paint is out standing. Don't see a downside! Best of all close to me from Hickory, they update there web-site weekly so I can see progress if I don't have time to go to there shop in person.
