When our two year rate lock expired and we went to internet only the total bill was $54 after taxes and fees. That's the standard- not turbo.

I'd order online just cause I hate people. Here's the current selections for the Charlotte market for non-bundled Internet:

Ultimate (up to 50Mbps) $74.99/mo. For 12 Months
Extreme (up to 30Mbps) $64.99/mo. For 12 Months
Turbo (up to 20Mbps) $54.99/mo. For 12 Months
Standard (up to 15Mbps) $44.99/mo. For 12 Months
Basic (up to 3Mbps) $29.99/mo. For 12 Months
Lite (up to 1Mbps) $19.99/mo. For 12 Months

When I ordered this, I got $20/month knocked off for the first 12 months, and there were no up front fees, nor contract. However i got this by calling in and not ordering via the website.

I started off this past August with standard for 34.99 with free installation and used my own docsys 3.0 modem. They called me a couple of months ago and offered Turbo internet for only $5 more a month, so I thought that was a good deal. So now I pay $39.99 a month. This rate is supposed to be good for 12 months. We had directv, but canceled because our costs were just too high once you add HD, HD-DVR's, multi rooms, etc. We are now using Over the Air antenna with tivos, and netflix. I am a huge hockey fan, and I can subscribe to that via nhl gamecenter, and stream through my son's xbox 360 or our sony bluray player. More and more folks are going this route as pay tv costs just keep rising.
