Try Cajun Queen on 7th St. Not sure if they have them, but the rest of the food is good. The Cajun Queen, Charlotte NC Home Page

You are a newbie around here aren't you?

I hate to break it to you - there are no boiled crawfish to be found in Charlotte unless you boil them yourself!

Although you could join our LSU Alumni group and come to our annual boil in May Other than that, you order them shipped to your house from Baton Rouge. We like Tony's:

No but they have the best crawfish scampi around! They use crawfish tailmeat (about the size of popcorn shrimp) in many of their dishes. Cajun Queen is the closest thing to New Orleans in Charlotte.

Also try Razzoo's. They're located right beside (in front of really) the Concord Mills Mall. I'm from Louisiana too and while they don't have boiled crawfish, they do have very good "southern, cajun" food you can't get anywhere else around here. (Including fried alligator & crawfish tails, fried okra & pickles, seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee, bread pudding, ect...) I was pleasantly surprised, it was really great! *I don't live in Concord, but it's worth the drive!

Yeah it's a chain, but it has a lot of things that aren't offered anywhere else around here, so it's better than not eating them at all. Beggers can't be choosers!

You are so right - when I get a hankering for catfish I resort to buying the frozen catfish from Harris Teeter
