Can't be privacy or chain link. Can't come past the front plane of the house.

The only problem I have is that the clown behind me put up one of those faux wrought iron fences right on the property line. It's a pain in the hind section to have to weed whack between all of those little vertical posts. I did it once and never again. If he put the fence up (without consulting me), then he can maintain the whole darned thing!

So why not make a bed along the fence? You can create a natural privacy screen that will serve to shield you from your neighbor, and alleviate the headache of maintaining the fence.

We're trying to think of a nice layout to accomplish that. The sticking point is that my back border (where the fence is) is the natural drainage route for several homes. Normally dry, but it has a little flow during a gulley washer.
