This is a nationwide problem, not just in Charlotte.

I wish people luck with this. I rent so I always feel releived because i'm disposable.

I don't know which direction you were talking about, but I have 2 houses in FL that aren't selling (big surprise). To be comfortable, we need to sell atleast one before making the move, but we would like to get rid of both of them! Charlotte here we come...one day!

I considered moving to Charlotte, however, finding a company to reply or even acknowledge that they received my resume was a complete failure and disappointing. Now with the housing prices coming down in the Port Charlotte, Fl area, which is where I currently live, it has become affordable again to purchase a home. Plus, I lived in Charlotte as a teenager and I am 42 now and the traffic was horrible then so I can imagine how it must be now. The one thing I would have liked to be near was the mountains.. I guess I will have to make that my summer vacation destinations.

If you thought traffic was bad back in the 70's and 80's here in Charlotte then today would make you feel like you were in DC or Manhattan

I've been trying to sell my house in Greensboro for 7 months....at least I have family in Clt to stay with in the meantime, but the commute downtown from Mooresville is a killer!

Traffic used to be bad in Charlotte?

I remember when it took 20 minutes to get from one side of town to the other!
